Welcome to the Intersect! Use this fun app to find movies with your favorite actors, directors or genres – and combine searches to create your own intersect! The Intersect is based heavily on the Netflix library, but a Netflix account is not required to use it, making the Intersect the best way to browse the Netflix Catalog without a Netflix Subscription.
We are giving this version away for free, and will be creating a “plus” version with Queue Management and other premium functions in the next couple of months.
The app is now available in the app store
The grid shows you all the matching movies for your current search. Add more terms using the buttons at the top to find just the movie you want.
The movie page gives you character information (who was that guy who played the Scarecrow in The Dark Knight?). Add new search terms from the movie and refresh the grid to narrow your search, or click on existing terms to remove them. From the movie page you can also jump to other similar movies.
Add the movie to your Netflix Queue, purchase it on iTunes or get the DVD from Amazon. If it’s available to watch Instantly on Netflix, launch the player directly from the Intersect.
