This version includes bug fixes for all known issues and will run on iOS 4.2 to accomodate Verizon iPhones. The UI has been updated to streamline the controls and make behavior more consistent and intuitive.

Multiple fixes were made to accomodate changes Netflix is in the process of making to their movie genres. As these changes have not yet been concretely communicated, further changes will likely be needed in the next version.

• Revert to iOS 4.2 build to accomodate Verizon iPhones.
• Fixed iPhone Search Terms view navigation buttons.

• Streamlined UI:

  • One touch on any Term in the Search Terms view will select an unselected Search Term or remove a selected Search Term, and will immediately load a new Titles grid showing the titles matching the new set of selected Search Terms.
  • Consequent to the above, the search button has been removed from the Search Terms view, as it is now superfluous.
  • The selected Search Terms showing in the Search Terms view will always match the Search Terms associated with the last view the user looked at. Using the forward and back buttons on either the Search Terms view or directly on the Titles or Movie views will load the next view on the stack and update the Search Terms view appropriately.

• Netflix will be eliminating the Genres field as it currently exists on 6/15. This weekend, they began making some of their changes and The Intersect began crashing on the initial load as a result. As of Monday morning, 6/13, they seem to have reversed the backward incompatibility., but some issues may remain. Netflix has not yet issued any sort of details on what is involved in this change, but I will submit a working version of The Intersect to the App Store as soon as I can update the code to accomodate these changes. Likely by Thursday evening, 6/16. My apologies to anyone this inconvenienced.

Fixed several issues which may have led to memory leaks, less than optimal performance, and crashing.  Altered the History function to allow duplicate search grids and added an upper limit so the application will trim history to the last 20 items displayed when adding new items.  Added a pop-up link to the App Store ratings page for those who use the application for more than a few days.

• The Forward and Back navigation button in the Search Terms view are not functional in the iPhone version.  They are intended to serve the same purpose as the navigation buttons in the search results grid and movie views.  Version 1.31 will include a fix for this and will be submitted as soon as 1.3 is approved.
